The Yearlings

Softer'n a rabbit sheltrin in a holler, sweet Harmonies and rich tremolo electric guitar, aged. Old. Just the right amount of haunting. The Yearlings songs rock, sad and slow... like a chair on an old wooden porch.
Robyn Chalklen and Chris Parkinson first crossed paths at Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2000, and they’ve been writing and performing together ever since. Quietly chipping away at their sound for the past ten years, they have produced four studio albums and one live record, and have appeared at high-profile festivals around Australia and internationally, including Port Fairy Folk Festival, National Folk Festival, Tamworth, and New York Guitar Festival. Reminiscent of alt-country Americana, but born out of Adelaide, South Australia and Joined on stage
