Sweet Jean

Sweet Jean is Sime Nugent and Alice Keath. Their music draws on the dark, bent, old soulful tradition, combining glimpses of gospel with the romanticism of old-school pop, and the gallows humour of good gothic storytelling. They play frailing banjo, agricultural guitar, autoharp and harmonica, with razor-sharp harmony singing at the centre of it all.
