Spikey & Friends are a uniquely Australian Alternative K-indie Rock band, educational & fun for the whole family. Songs include many important themes about native Australian animals, Indigenous values about nature as well as biologies and habits of dolphins, bush turkeys, echidnas, turtles & even cane toads.
Spikey & Friends utilise music as a vehicle to not only entertain children & parents but also help give access to a more balanced view of living & looking after the biodiversity of our oceans, rain forests and Indigenous cultures.
Michael Turner ex- Durga Babies, has been working on producing high quality children’s music for the last decade and is joined by fellow musicians from Aussie Indie legend bands like The New Christs, The Whitlams and Ed Keupper.
