Lenny Bastiaans is best known for his bass playing and vocal ability in seminal Sydney bands like Anti Anti, Louis Tillett, Damian Lovelock, Great White Noise, just to name a few. Sydney’s loss was the north coasts gain as Lenny moved north a few years back.
Currently performing as a solo artist on a nylon string guitar, Lenny manages to capture a very original set of songs. Apart from having a bit of a bluesy streak he is difficult to brand or pigeon hole.
A blend of no mucking around, heart-felt, spontaneous, roller coaster music is what you can expect. This truth be told style of music will leave you uplifted and asking questions as well as humming a few bars long after having heard it.
