Mullum festival will be Hussy Hicks first Australian shows since they performed as a “directors pick” at Bluesfest earlier in the year.  Fresh off the plane from six months of touring, writing and recording their way around Europe and America, local gals Hussy Hicks are looking forward to sharing all of the songs and stories they’ve collected along the way.

They have become well renowned for their live performances which have been described as spontaneous, explosive and emotive; Julz Parker is regarded as one of her country’s finest guitarists and has traded finger-style, flamenco, gypsy and Arabic licks with everyone from street performers to Phil and Tommy Emmanuel, John Jorgenson, Lulo Reinhardt and Joe Robinson. Leesa Gentz is most recognised for her soaring vocals and joyful, endearing stage presence and she has been steadily earning respect as one of the most captivating vocalists in her field.
