Melbourne four-piece Husky has received great recognition from music lovers, radio and media around the country lately with their new single 'History's Door', winning triple J Unearthed and receiving radio play across the nation. It is the first taste of their dreamy infectious sound with their new album, 'Forever So', due for release in August, 2011. Recorded in a studio built by cousins Husky Gawenda (vocals, guitar) and Gideon Preiss (keys, vocals) and mixed in the USA with Noah Georgeson (The Strokes, Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart), it is Husky’s definitive opus, a collection of beautifully crafted songs, recorded in the heat of summer and the fever of a vision.

Warm and plaintive pianos are driven by urgent rolling drums, while acoustic guitars sweep in and out of haunting harmonies, all woven together by melodies and voices that resonate like some long ago, vanishing summertime. Husky has been touring the country playing with the likes of the John Butler trio. They are becoming known for their spirited and mesmerising live show.
