Music is about communication between performers as much as it’s about performing to an audience.
Grandmaster percussionist Greg Sheehan curates an event to celebrate the rhythm of the 2011 festival. Last year at the festival this stage went into a frenzy as the live improvisation behind artists such as Nano Stern, Morganics and Djolpa McKenzie took us on rhythmic rides underpinned by Greg’s relentless grooves.
This year expect some very unexpected guests, but we can tell you both Epizo Bangoura and The Barons of Tang will be at hand.
