Heartworn Highway, a tip of the hat to the 1975 documentary film by James Szalapski, share the song writing and the harmonising 3 ways between Trent McNamara, Diego Zaragoza & Maria Stratton.

Stooped in the traditions of Townes Van Zandt, Gram Parsons, The Band & the Louvin Brothers, Heartworn Highway serve up soulful stories of life's wanderings, with banjo, fiddle, guitar, slide guitar, clever 3 part harmony arrangements & a solid bass fiddle from Al Brooker (Paul Kelly & the Dots).

Heartworn Highway's debut album was recorded on a veranda in northern NSW by Sir George Martin's under study Michael Stavrou. Their folow up, recorded this year, marks the first song writing contributions of fiddler Maria Stratton.

Though born across different decades, they unite seamlessly through their musical love.
