"9/10 Australian indie folk music has a new queen." – Beat Magazine

Domini Forster is fast-establishing herself as one of Melbourne’s brightest new voices in modern folk.

With a live sound underpinned by intricate fingerpicking and close vocal harmonies, Forster leads you through the dusk-lit corridors of her intricate song-stories with her latest release ‘Raven’ depicting scenes as intimate and lovelorn as tea-stained lace.

Past Mullum Music Festival Youth Mentorship Winner Domini Forster returns to not only perform but also mentor the next batch of up-and-comming artsts. After touring extensively with renowned Australian songwriter Lior, she released her debut album 'Raven' in March 2017. Hovering deftly in the breathless spaces between light and dark, 'Raven' is a remarkably assured debut that snagged a 9/10 from Beat Magazine, feature album of the week from Eastside Radio, and a place in both the Triple R Soundscape and the PBS Top 10.

Her distinctive voice shifts effortlessly from commanding call to lilting, whisper-close falsetto, earning her comparisons to the likes of Laura Marling and Joni Mitchell.
